Had I known there were ways to restore my computer and make it "like new," I certainly would not have gotten rid of it!

7. Performing a defragmentation on your hard-drive will speed up read and write processes by rearranging data into orderly chunks.

8. If the computer comes equipped with an Anti-Virus program, you should run it and update the virus data files to ensure you are fully protected.

9. Any program on your computer that you do not need should be gotten rid of to make your computer run faster.
